Extra virgin olive oil

Superior category extra virgin olive oil obtained for more than 70% from typical Cilento varieties: Pisciottana, Rotondella and Ogliarola.
The olives come from the “Laura” estate in Stio at an altitude of 700 m above sea level and are harvested in the last ten days of October.

 

Production method

The oil is produced with olives harvested at full veraison and processed that same evening in a state of the art mill.
The color is golden yellow with green reflections and has a medium fruitiness with notes of green leaf.
On the palate the medium intensity bitterness and spiciness are accompanied by a pleasant almond aftertaste with light hints of dried fruit.

 

Pairings

It goes very well with legume based dishes, soups and grilled meat.
